How it works

  1. Add your car. Type in the reg and we fill in most of the details. Add a price, a few lines about it and some photos.
  2. We check it, and help you make it better. Every advert is checked in about a minute before it goes up, which keeps the site free of scams. You'll get tips on your photos and description too: which shots work, which are missing, and what buyers want to know.
  3. Buyers get in touch. Messages come to your email. Your email address is never shown, and your number only if you want it to be.

The rules

  • Private sellers who live on the Isle of Wight only.
  • One car per advert, and up to 3 adverts at a time.
  • Be honest: say if there are faults, and use your own photos.
  • No traders posing as private sellers. Dealers can list their stock here instead.
  • Adverts run for 90 days. We'll remind you before yours ends, and you can renew it with one tap.

Selling safely

Let buyers see the car and its V5C at your address. Only hand over the keys and paperwork once the money is in your account. Don't accept overpayments or cheques, and never send money to a buyer.
